Infoseite // VRO and Power Director

Frage von jebo34:

Moin from the far north,

I have recently concerned a Hitachi dz-gx 3100e DVD Cam to the games of my mitzufilmen Handball team.

Now I'm working with Powerdirector3, or try out just Powerdirector5.

The process is as follows:
1) It is recorded on mini-DVD (quality standard, ie 352x576, 2.57 MB / sec),
2) the mini-DVD is copied to the hard drive (the dubbing by USB - no Firewire-present takes too long, because then the included car already converted to MPEG2)
3) the VRO files to PowerDirector read,
4) something cut up and
5) after one SCVD created (I was between DVD and SVCD-SP) has so far not figure no big difference in quality.

Questions:
1) PowerDirector 3 shares the VRO in the various scenes during capture on (DVD_RTAV folder), the version 5 do not. Why?
2) The result is just as useful, but the recording quality is indeed synonymous not the best. Can I rausholen with this recording even more if I choose a different format during encode?
3) If the bit rate is the recording in 2570, but can I get this as synonymous cbr set when creating or

If I had known that I was so in such a complicated area betake .....

Thanks for your help,

Jens

Correction:

I said above, not scenes, but chapter, since my VRO file consists of several shots, which begins again with each of 00:00:00.
Therefore PowerDirector comes when cutting, it reads to me the whole file as a synonymous only one confused, it cuts everything together, just not what it should: ((

Hello Jens,

how long is "finally" come from? - You have 14 days to return, according to Distance Selling Act if you have bought from a mail order business.

DVD camcorders are not for people who want to rework their video recordings (search, "DVD camcorder" type).

Hi Markus,

just to be absolutely sure of:

If I (all example purposes only) 1.5 hours the same film on mini DV and mini-DVD HOST and would bring it to a DVD, so that both movies are 4.5GB large, then the quality of the Mini-DV -- far better film?
The disadvantage would be the longer working hours for the mini-DV, until the result is finished, right?

I now have the SonyDCR-HC46E Panasonic NV-GS180 and the eye.
Do you know you in the camera's range so that you have to me a suitable camera for the indoor area with good Angleund Wide 16:9 (at a pinch could not be recommended)?

Greetings from Kiel,

Jens

Yes! Clearly!

Only the dubbing, which would be done in real time longer (in your example, h) just 1.5. The advantages over mini-DVD but they are enormous!

Even the playing off on DVD (as a blank costs cents amounts) has great advantages (quality! Compatibility! Etc.). What use you the whole time savings if they recognize the player no longer on the Television? ;-)

Hi Jens,
I am glad that you can solve your problem.
For me it is so that if I PowerDirector3 with a. VRO File of DVD-Ram import the sound is gone.
Did you have the problem or it was synonymous with you without any major problems?

Hi Jonas,

DVD camcorders feature the sound in Dolby Digital. Does your computer has an AC3 decoder? Can PowerDirector3 deal with AC3?

* edit *
I just saw your other question (

Antwort von jonash:

Hi Markus
No idea what PowerDirector may or may not be where I read through the s.besten? In any case, it is so that I with AVS Video Tools can convert the VRO file in AVS. If I then import the AVS the sound is there. AVS you must, but I have to buy, so I'm still looking for freeware may be such a thing. Unfortunately, all the programs I have tried have been synonymous VobEdit and vob2mpeg not work because the VRO not see or edit.

Thanks for the help so far

Antwort von Gast 0815:

DGIndex (http://neuron2.net/dgmpgdec/dgmpgdec.html) can capture and process vro; it demuxed (separates sound / picture to you) the same file and eliminates any static synchronization problems, the Mpeg2 Audio / Video files should be in most editing programs can capture, otherwise you have to stop them again mpeg2 zusammenmuxen.

Thanks that was the solution.
I have the original file in PowerDirector imported and the sound later, after the demux the audio track as a. Wav, again lined. So I can cut it in parallel, and nothing is lost
Thx @ all
