I know the Firewire problems already firmly belong to the Forum and there are consequently many threads about this.
But I was never a solution to my problem so I can ask you for help.
I have a VX 2000 E Pal and want to join this s.meinen computer and thereby following Resulatate came to pass:
1. Calculator 64-bit AMD 3000 with onboard Firewire (VIA chipset) and Win XP Pro SP2.
This calculator recognized the camera without any problems and I could not synonymous to work with. When I wanted to join them later but a second time, he saw nothing more. He did not even noticed it was connected to anything at all.
So I tried the whole second s.einem Calculator ---
2.Calculator Yakumo Notebook AMD Athlon 2200 + onboard Firewire (believe synonymous Via chipset) WinXP Pro SP1
This calculator she recognized the very first time not.
So I went to a third Calculator (my own) ---
Has 3.Calculator AMD Athlon 2000 + WinXP Pro Sp1 with audigy 1 sound card with FireWire and Pinnacle AV / DV card also Firewire.
Again, the same Ergebniss.No the two maps would recognize the camera. So I have updated Direct X but not synonymous success.
I tried a total of 4 different Firewire cables, but again no success. SP2 has been on it but not synonymous Erfolg.Habe worried me a new Firewire card (VIA chipset but with EVERTECH) synonymous not a success. Hi Bastian,
the initial description I would have guessed SP2. This issue is certainly several times you met when you have you read through other posts.
The fact that the camcorder but other s.keinem Calculator longer is detected, speaks for a defect in the DV interface. Here is the electrostatic be felt in an unpleasant way.

s.Calculator 1 and 3, I have now 3 different 6 to 4 pin firewire cable tried always with the same negative result.
Calculator for 2, I'm on a Firewire cable as it only has a 4 pin port. So pin 4 to 4 pin cable.
I think I can exclude that it is s.Kabel.

That somehow all fits so well with my case that I'm seriously worried.
But when she notices the camera is connected, on the screen then shows "DV IN" and as Calculator 1
I close the camera s.and the calculator does not matter.
But I let the camera is connected and change the system, the IEEE Drivers (of the VIA-Drivers on the normal Windows drivers), the USB sound typical, I can indeed Bling is still not access the camera but when I use the DV-times then Pull out the back of the computer and the "Bling notes will sound again
So I hope that it vllt s.irgendeiner setting the camera or the computer is located.
