Frage von wolf41:

Hello,
what you need for equipment, a conventional video cassette (old wedding film) to Digitizer?
I have a SonyDCR HC46E with DVI and a normal video recorder, Toshiba SD-36VESE. I am as follows:
I have the Sonyauf the cradle and put the output (yellow / white / red) at the rear of the video recorder with the Docking Station.
Then Camcoder to Play / Edit on the menu and Recording strg. On screen will appear: Recording possible.
Now I have the video recorder and playback on the camcorder recording made. He takes on synonymous. Unfortunately, no picture afterwards to see and hear no sound -> everything is gray.
Can I still accomplish with this equipment? You need additional software or hardware or other cable?

As a film editing program, I Let's Edit 2 of Canopus.

Thank you for your tips

Hello,

anyway so it should not go.

Accepted in DV format into a DV AVI file format is the same as that camera has - and this is not the case with an old video cassette. VCR has never eh Firewire, more of a DVD recorder.

In AV inputs, but unfortunately did your DV camera only in AV and not in.

If the camera in AV would have with it with the AV cable.

SonyHC 96 courses as one of the last Sony MiniDV cameras (I think even the times HC 96 is the latest Sony MiniDV Consumer PAL camera with AV in will)

Unfortunately, bad news ....
