Frage von flow:

Hi Folks,

Short question - it makes more sense a positive one DVRex-M1 without RT-option to buy, or should still be able to save on a newer DVStorm2 or RT.100?

heretical views in demand:
EVER makes sense to buy a cut card?
(I mean, if you must earn no money with Video)

Antwort von flow:

However, if one private lot that is synonymous cut a huge save time!

Antwort von Nightfly!:

Hi flow!

Saving more for the Storm2 or equal to the EDIUS DVX.

Hi Flow,

Do not buy Rex

Storm2 has compared to the solution without the benefit of the capture card analog inputs and outputs. Incidentally, the DVX Of Canopus has only analog outputs (firewire of course, both), a used Storm is always better than a new DVX. The real-time support of the Storm is on computers with 3 GHz and more not so crucial.

And what do you do with the "saved" time?
Freezing s.Leben, rear attach ....???

Perhaps not quite belong here here.

So let's forget quickly with the only analog with the DVX!

I see no analogue inputs synonymous with the Edius DVX.

As for the DVX-card in Comparison with DV Storm 2 has not:

- Analog inputs (ie, no A / D converter!)
- Hardware MPEG Encoders

Hihi, I would not have ...

"So that we forget the times quickly with only analog in the DVX!"

Please check first and then post. may have confused the DVX with the NX? The NX has analog inputs, but is in a whole different class than DVX and is the real successor to the Storm for HDV, with the full coverage is available only in a 64-bit PCI slots are used and which are rare and really only in dual-processor to find boards.

Exactly! the hardware MPEG encoder is the essential difference that the Storm2 "doing something" more expensive than the DVX. Alledrings needs to be said about that the hardware encoder is in front of Procoder2.
Will hot with today's software encoders people get better on the screen (of course) with higher processor utilization.

I can only add my voice! And for the impatient: Scroll down to the post by the administrator. ;-)

Incidentally, I work with and know the difference RT.X100 a card to an identically equipped Calculator without real-time video. The difference is huge.

@ Nightfly!:
For is it not at all synonymous for the disposition.

@ Markus:
Then you will indeed need the DVX garnicht ...;-)
