Hello,
I cut just a movie to burn it in individual chapters with Nero on SVCD. But now the pieces are too large (eg: 10 minutes 1 GB). How do I get them smaller again in order to burn them to SVCD??
They are AVI files. The Resolutionist like the original, and this video is 119 minutes long unedited 1.09 GB (AVI file).
Request for quick response.

Either format to MPEG-I or better in this case, DivX or XVid

Nero should convert your car into the film SVCD format, then about 40 minutes to fit on a CD.

Hey .. Did synonymous the problem. Nero or Easy Media Creator burned me a SVCD. But quality and sound was mist. No Comparison to the original.
I tried different things. The best way I can cope with
Ulead VideoStudio 7 SE (there were pros at 5 euros). Only as DV-AVI and then edit them on PC move to save as AVI again on PC. Then I have the program "TMPGEncDE" and then as a convertible to SVCD MPEG2. Luckily I have an Aldi DVD Player.Brenne a data CD with the MPEG2 file. Runs Super.Qualität and sound are top.
This allows already some aud burn CD.

b) with AutoGordianKnot else then create Optionally than Xvid / DivX
You have options at AGK image resolution, audio and other Quallität deliver this book.
Films which are important to me, I transfer to DVD-R or DVD in order to stop them convertible ...
You can edit chapters with NERO RECODE (bzw.selber share) ...
