Infoseite // Video looks blurred after the issuing of AE

Frage von torti05:

Hi,

I was with a canon dv-cam (cheap camcorder recorded for 500 usd) a video and saved via firewire as MPG or AVI file on the computer. The quality is quite ok.

Now I wanted to after effects of video editing (eg farbkorrektur). I have done so and in the after effects synonymous video still looks quite fit. So now I have it but in the best quality avi-dv exported (see also rendered) and must, however, the finished video that this is suddenly slightly blurred. so it no longer has the sharpness as before the editing? there is anything in particular base? can diesesn errors "deal somehow, perhaps in which one chooses a different rendertyp?

what can be done so that the clip is soooo not blurred?
can someone help me?

thanks
thorsten

Did you accidentally during export (rendering) a deinterlacing done?

Hello Thorsten,

If you import an interlace video in AE, you need the software say that the video is interlaced, and come in which order these fields. (In the project window with the right mouse button on the video file, click> Interpret Footage> Selecting Footage> Separate fields> (very likely): Lower field first).

The project should have the same setting as the video, presumably 720 × 576 pixels with a pixel aspect ratio of 1.07 for 4-3 and 1.42 for 16:9. There are both suitable templates (D1 PAL / DV 720 x 576 or D1 PAL / DV widescreen 720 × 576).

When exporting you need to state again that you have a interlaced video with half-frames and want to set the field order. This should of course be the same as that of the original material.

Good luck!

How do I actually know if any-deinterlace is used?

And where can I find out further how the fields (build lower or upper first) to such settings will be able to?

Antwort von NiklasF:

Interlaced (50 fields / sec; synonymous 50i) shall be properly used of all PAL camcorders
(Exception example of Panasonic DVX-100, then 25p, then 25 frames / sec).

The interlaced sequence is set in DV - Standard:
As always only the second field (consisting of the even lines 2-4-6 ...) and then read that first field (odd lines ,1-3-5-7 ..)

In the Render Queue Render Settings. What there is in quality, resolution, frame blending to render fields, Bew (ADULTS PER)-blur?

If I ascend up the Habbilder when rendered and then I rendere the rendered material back with half-frames, then go no image information is lost or I have loss of quality?

Because this option would be the one offering to save time and would render the meantime, if the final project before rendering vacate half frames again with some problems from the road. (If this goes)

In addition, the question arises: Will I be working simultaneously in Premiere / After effect, with no footage and footage with interlaced fields, such as fade, when I render the Halbbildeinstellung at the end-use of materials with half-frames?

Antwort von Stefan:

No, yes and no, yes ;-)

When joining the fields image information is lost, technically speaking, this means you have a loss of quality. Subjectively, you may have seen an enhanced image quality (see all the complaints about spikes in the video ...). Blending is, material without rausgerendert fields with half-images is straightforward.

Good luck
