Infoseite // Video placeholder rectangle import into After Effects

Hello,
I have the following problem with After Effects 7.0:
I want a video (720x576 PAL) in a rectangle or parallelogram import that I've created in Photoshop. When I pressed it with ALT-button to drag the rectangle, it replaces this by the video, but it is not scaled correctly. That means it is only a small snippet of the video to see.
What must I do to ensure that the After Effects video properly scaled s.die and it adjusts the size of the rectangle?

Öhm the video scaling? You have the wrong workflow. Your have no Platzhalter transformations, but are 100% great. Therefore, AE did not know how it will scale if they are replaced with larger sources are.

Okay, thanks for the info. Covered After Effects recognizes the size of the rectangle and somehow fit the video, just as one example, a Still Image in InDesign s.einen framework can adapt.
Then I watch the videos probably earlier scaled ...
