Since you can take any video program if it has a pause function. Video pause at the screenshots and press the Calculator button. Screenshot paste into an image editing program. Done.
OK, "comfortable" video programs have their own functions for screenshots and stills.
If your video is played in
VirtualDub, it would be quite appropriate: where you can a whole sequence of images (in the Targa, BMP or JPEG format can be saved).

The above screenshot does something I want bezwifeln. Have you ever tried in PowerDVD Windows Media Player, etc. To make the screenshot button freeze frame of a DVD movie / video? Then you probably failed (if you do not have the built-in feature of PowerDVD have used!)
You then where is usually a picture, only either a very dark picture, or do you see as your desktop background, or the video, which still in the picture itself runs next. (at least in Paint, you will save from this, there should be visible only to black!)

Good and proper objection.
The black Picture what happens when the hardware acceleration of graphics card is set up in the video viewer.
If you runterdreht the hardware acceleration (Media Player-> View-> Options-> Playback) it'll work.
