Infoseite // Videos from the DVD camcorder froze for Adobe Premiere

Frage von Albert:

Hello, I have the following problem

The videos of my Panasonic VDR-M50 (auv DVD-RAM), I play with the movie album on the PC.

The result: a normal functioning mpg files

I invite the mpegs in premiere 1.5

Result:
-In the Source Monitor lets you look at the file normally
extremst-after inserting the sequence jerky the picture in the preview monitor, it seems impossible to look as if repeating frame always follow einiege, so we were watching a movement Designed for every day, while the tone is quite normal.

What can I do?

My previous attempt and theories:

The export is striking:
is the resolution! = 25fps then the image with the preview is identical
is the Resolution25fps (such as the swelling data), it jerky at times, ton is asynchronously; s.den are always the same, so it is not s.der File and s.dem computer

If the project is resolution 25 fps, like the preview of the exported file.

Theory 1: Premiere has a problem in order to edit the mpeg, as this saves not separate each frame.
Theory 2: Premiere THE mpeg to deal with a problem, since this camera are of a DVD created, and these are they are probably not as good as in the advertising.

And again my question: What should I do about the videos Ruckelfrei spend?
Are there any settings that I do not know which enabled the successful resampling of mpegs, or disabled?
Perhaps the problem has nochjemand that Premiere does not properly calculate the videos and can tell me how to handle it?

Hello Albert,

my Premiere 6.5 is supposed to deal with MPEG2 files, especially with those who have drawn my Matrox video card. In fact, I have such a file can be processed further, however, never makes sense in Premiere. A preliminary transformation into something useful (read: DV-AVI) is not only appropriate but essential.

Basically, you are right that a DVD camcorder is not the optimum. But not because of the manner in which such a device stores MPEG2 files, but that it is indeed the MPEG2 compression served. These camcorders are not for people who want to rework their video recordings. It is synonymous in the forum be read again and again.

Hello,
who wants to edit MPEG2 in Premiere requires the MainConcept MPEG Pro PlugIn for Adobe Premiere Pro.

Here the understanding is an excerpt from the MPEG Pro manual:

Antwort von Jan:

The problem is the DVD camcorder does not create raw MPEG 2 data, but their derivatives VOB / VRO, yes, it is only one! Stored in MPEG 2 full - the first of the rest of 8-14 is calculated.

There are currently only trouble with DVD camcorder cut here every day 3-5 post's - None will admit the DVD camcorder to the DV editing are simply ill suited.

When you convert AVI me Adobe has produced the same garbage that I could enjoy myself synonymous with MPG. That's why I assumed that the files are corrupted.

Obviously have a real idea, just the software was wrong.

Thanks, now I know that I'm on the right track. Must go now and get me GBs. Stupid of me to think I would get along with 12GB.

I've noticed over the last 2 weeks only too well. That's what happens when one decides to cut only one years after purchase for.

Have good work through the list. Well then transversely confused, so.
With VirtualDubMod I have succeeded in the *. mpg (mpeg2), AVI produce an acceptable, but the audio is continuous interference in the high frequency range.
It sounds as though you would soon play an audio track. Parallel to it, but we hear the normal sound.
If it appears VirtualDubMod but no settings for audio to give. Does anyone know this problem and its solution already?

AVI AVI is not the same. AVI is a container format, where you can hineinpacken everything.

The Easy Reading refers) on the DV-AVI with 720x576 pixels (PAL recordings. Of what nature are your files? (Maybe in 640 x480ß of a cell phone?)

If that with the DVDs will not work right so I ask myself why None used the S-video output along with Canopus converter.

At least I think it is much more sensible to invest a few dollars, than to annoy me weeks or more.

That costs extra money stop, no preference whether the A / D converter is rented or purchased. And to think most users, the analog transmission would destroy the entire image quality ... but this is not so.

@ Mark
When people use the Premiere Pro, I still presupposes times, they are still $ 100 left over, just as with those engaged in your hobby you.

And f in the way, if your Matrox Prem 6.5 with the Mpegs not quite work, you had to invest in Miro DC100 -;)
