Hi All,
I am about family VHS recordings of the early 90s to digitize.
To this end I have connected my USB audio grabbers via a simple S-Video VCR s.einen to abandon interfere the signal.
As software I use Ulead Movie Wizard.
Question:
How do I configure the software on the frame rate, compression, shape, size and software compression codec ideally without degrading the image quality?
At present, 20 seconds film 400 megabytes in size.
This is a bit much for a PAL VHS movie.
1. Should I point the frame rate of 30,000 images / sec. ? Lower
2. Which Compression I: Choose
RGB24 (was of the house from above)
YUY2
I420
UYVY
3. Should I change the size?
720 x 480 (wars of house)
640 x 480 (default is off the back)
720 x 480
720 x 576
etc.
4. What is the zich software compression formats I choose?
Without your help, I'm screwed! I rumprobiert, but the picture has adversely changed ... would find forever use the try and error the optimal setting.

720 x 576 at 25 frames per second is the video resolution is common in Germany. MPEG2 format, encoded in the synonymous DVDs.
(The default settings match the American TV standard)

As a recording format is available in the main menu only AVI.
MPEG, DV, SVCD, VCD, DVD and WMV prinzipiel are indeed available, but ULEAD jumps back again to AVI.
Furthermore, there is the sub-menu under "Advanced" the codec choice is taking place with the inclusion of the compression.

I hope this time my ordered Sanyo VPC-HD2000 camcorder has an analog-in, so I have to buy me a CT must .....
