Hello, I try my Video8/videoHI8-Kassetten to Digitizer, edit and on DVD (Resolution720 x 576) to burn. But I use my SonyTR707E, a 7134 TV card and capture software. Unfortunately, during playback of the tape edge by s.unteren Picture approximately 10-20 continuous line (not synchronized) distorts the picture. On television, this is the overscan is not visible, but s.PC. This effect is not only in the Sonyso but synonymous with a Nikon Video8 camera, synonymous with various TV cards (WINTV PCI / FM and TerratecDa Cinery 250 PCI). This problem, I wanted to now with VirtualDub | Capture AVI | Cropping bypass. Unfortunately, all Resolutions> 640 X 288 with "Unable to start video capture "is rejected. The capture software allows the TV card for AVI following Resolutions: 352 x 288 704 x 576 720 x 288 and 720 x 576, but no clipping.
I will also use 720 x 576, since it no big loss should occur.
With Windows Movie Maker, Nero Vision and Magix Video deluxe, I have no Clipping function found. By: at WMM crashes lasts from XP (auto reboot).
Question: I am missing plug-in's VirtualDup? I can clipping synonymous when importing an AVI file use? what possibilities there are?

This is quite normal if you put the data 1:1 to DVD burner is as synonymous by the overscan is not visible. The only way is probably capture-> Crop (ie 2x encode), but not what I would do so because you DVD-Video then have to resize again anyway.

Yes, it's the "null transform" filter of garnix makes, but the Clipping available.

Thank you, You are right, for example, by cropping. 720 x 560, the dirt is gone, but the resize is almost much worse.
Nevertheless, the question is: can I use the dung is not represented by a black bar with Resolutionvon up to 720 x 576 to replace. On the PC is really not good for the eyes. Is there any plugin against?

Whether this is good for the eyes is lass ich mal moot point. If you beam drum rummachst you need to make sure all the cases that the edges Multiples of 16 s.Width, otherwise the Picture by Block artifacts s.den edges back a bit slurred and requires very high bitrates.
