I'm trying since 2 days with the Windows Movie Maker to cut a film. Cutting actually works quite well, but the subsequent play is not entirely successful. At the beginning, everything is good, but when I make a movie (if no preference. Avi or. Mpg) cut / split / cut to start over / ... have and wants to play him then, I have in the first 10 seconds always the same picture and no sound. Furthermore, this picture does not "place" where I have divided the movie, but the one after that ominous "10 seconds" comes. I hope you understand my problem:)

Sorry, have no ultimate solution for you. The cause seems to be that your input format is not 100% compatible with Movie Maker is simply expressed.
Please try with the Windows Media Encoder for free on the Microsoft homepage to download the videos, or the origin of new wmv to encode before you in mm. You should be familiar with the MM.
