WW2 use recordings as favorable as possible

Frage von superfrog666:
September 2010

Hello
selbige recordings I need for a music video. there they will live recordings with the band mixed.

so far I have followed the approach to take to the world war tool from a mirror-tv documentation. yet I would then probably ss-tv money for the use of pay bands, and s.die rightsholders of the original recordings money for licensing fees.

I only hear him again and that could be circumvented synonymous, and the recordings are from the 1940s were years now eh lizensfrei. what I think of all this now and still can be, is the good question.

in any case I would need in the current situation 10EUR per second s.chronos-media pay license fee, plus the amount for the mirror. and years in the music industry as we know, since the turnover in the sky to shoot ... well, enough rumgealbert: / ... so I just looking for a cheap ways.

This is nonsense. (... At least for Germany and most of Europe)
These are films, like the public in all copyright rights, only 70 years after the death of the author. That is, if the author (in your case, then either the cameraman or his client or the other former owners of the "work") had died in 1940, would be the recording of 1940 or before the public. But then you could synonymous recordings of this shooting, you've taken, for example, do not use the TV just so commercial, because the processing (digitization, restoration, etc.) new rights (intellectual property right) have emerged, not s.Originalmaterial but just s.der revision. This intellectual property right expires after 50 years after creation.
If only you would be 70 years old and original material in the hands of authors synonymous died at that time, you could use it freely, but which should be rather unlikely. ... Except your grandpa would have time in the war filmed or photographed.

So you will probably have no other choice than to pay for it.

Antwort von nohab:

you must still distinguish between performance and protection of copyright. I see only the images of war in power protection. However, one can argue about it. This would be 50 years, however, is the power and digitize a protected in turn. So this is not useful for you. Although there are exceptions to that but do not take you on.

What is synonymous for ne stupid idea for a music video.

Greetings
NOHAB

Is everything already mentioned ...

Antwort von Bernd E.:

If you are looking for is not necessarily quite certain German recordings, then look at www.archive.org: There are a lot of material including the U.S. Weekly synonymous from the second World War, which falls under "public domain". What to look for something in a music video, however, is probably a matter of taste ...
