Hello!

I have the SonyHDR-SR1E Camera and a Dell 2407WFP monitor with a 1920x1200 pixels Resolutionvon.

If the camera using the supplied Component cable s.den monitor, I have a super sharp picture.
I believe the full HDV resolution. Can that be?

I really wanted with an HDMI to DVI cable growth in order to monitor the full HD Resolutionanzuschauen.

Can I use with the HDMI cable with the save? Or. Can I somehow test whether I really understand the full Resolutionder camera can be displayed?

The component connection is analog in the area without question very well. And because of the flat screen anyway Resolutionvon 1080 to 1200 to adjust (inflate) shall, before the video even deinterlaced synonymous, is likely the difference of DVI / HDMI and component in terms of image quality achievable rather theoretical in nature.

Time regardless of which: You're after your statement but with the picture quality via component satisfied. What more do you want? ;-)

So of course, is a digital transmission over HDMI almost always on an analog YUV preferable. Only when it can be a transfer of HDMI to dvi some problems, which in practice mean that rather than component should be transferred. That can usually only with the specific test equipment.

Depending on the panel, even when Philips LCD Television I found the SR 1 Picture ca 5-10% better with HDMI, ie 90 - 100 - not much.

My feeling was the better move out and was still a tick more sharpness. Who knows maybe you are mistaken. Since Sonydas HDMI cable anyway mitliefert and not a little better already costs 30 ¬, you can even forgo it.

One should not exaggerate synonymous ...
