I look here the test reports of the HDV cameras s.and I can not decide easily. The SonyF1 or the Canon XL H1 or Panasonic, JVC, or at least something different? Can you recommend something?

... Can you recommend something? ... This is difficult when your very limited information, because "documentary" can be many things with different requirements. So what is important to you: Exchangeable optics? Recording format? Storage media? XLR connections? Or something else? Of that there is no Panasonic HDV camcorder and Sonykeine of F1 there, makes the whole thing synonymous not clear. The more precisely you define your selection criteria, the sooner you can give tips.
