Hello,
my task, a multitude of living / work spaces in the highest video quality to document requires a powerful camcorder with minimal Focal (?).
Initial trials with a SonyDCR-SR30 were sobering picture ... much too small. And a Wide Angle Goes to the detriment of the already low light.
Who can help me?
Perhaps a concrete tips from experience are suitable Cam, or at least a hint, as I of the manufacturer's specification for the focal of the lens and the diameter at the angle of view come.

If you know all the models with the same sensor to work, "wins" the first smallest number
Wide giant is in the consumer and 500 GS are ¬ 27 & 37th
Front is 1.9 = 35.7 mm (KB) = 51 ° picture angle, so 1 / 6 "CCD ca 19th times
SonyHC 23 just like SR 30 (all 1 / 6 "CCD) (actually ne HC 23 with hard drive and battery included stronger FP 50)
have 2,3 = ca 43 mm (KB) = 41 ° angle of view
On the producer side particularly Canon and Panasonic are the KB focal synonymous.
Canon MVX 40/45i have 39.9 mm synonymous with a good wide Anglebei the upper class Lowlightstärkeren camcorders.

How would a wide angle attachment factor 0.6 in my SonyDCR-SR30 to the high angle image can be expected?

There is an alternative: Photos From a (spherical) panoramic and with creating a virtual Camera abfilmen.
Simple: for example, Hugin panorama and Canopus Imaginate for shutdown of the panorama.
Professional: Realviz Stitcher, which makes the panoramas and the virtual camera for video is also installed. The integrated algorithms equalize the images while the camera movement, so the video is very realistic.

Click the fourth picture. In the window with the mouse button pressed move the cursor. From the Page from kommst du ggf synonymous with Stitcher.

Gast1 Sounds interesting, but I hardly credible that the majority of consumer clients in order to start what can & will.
If my calculator is right (or better if I had pressed the right buttons) should be approximately 21-22 mm at a focal GS 27 & 37 with use of a factor of 0.6 x converter. Halt 0.6 of the focal compartment.
Cameras with 1 / 6 CCD and smaller than 2.0 of Canon, JVC or Sonyist I have no current MiniDV (2006) known - Canon MV 9xx has a better Anglebei Wide 16 / 9 - but still no 35.7 mm GS 27 & 37 - the stabilizer is turned off but when activated.
When it is not too dark, the GS 27 a good Einsteigercam - which is around the level of SR 30 is at least in terms of image quality.
