As I turn for some time and Digital8 video review these and it wants to create DVD's, I built the following PC:
Housing:
HQ 420Watt ATX Midi Tower (Front USB + Sound) LowNoise black
Motherboard:
ASUS A8N-SLI Premium GigaLAN + + USB2.0 + FireWire + S-ATA
Processor:
AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800 + Socket939 FSB400 Box
Memory:
Corsair XMS DIMM Kit 2048MB PC3200 DDR CL2-3-3-8-1T (PC400) (TWINX2048-3200C2) (2x1024MB)
graphics card:
ASUS Extreme AX1600XT SILENT / TVD, Radeon X1600 XT, 256MB GDDR3, DVI, TV-out, PCIe
hard drive (s):
2 x Seagate 250GB 7200rpm 8MB (3 years warranty) SATA
DVD Burners:
LG4166B LightScribe 16x DVD + -R/RW + black
Sound Card:
Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music
Case Fan:
2 x Silent 120mm Pope
I am anxious that my future system is as silent as possible. Therefore, the choice of synonymous or GraKa boards with heatpipe.
But perhaps you have even still improve it.
approximately 95% of the videos that I want to edit, are live recordings of bands, so I selected an extra sound card to synonymous revise the optimal sound. But I do not know whether this is appropriate.
Also, I do not know what Boxenset for this could come into question. Any tips?
I have the X1600XT GraKa synonymous selected because AVIVO XCODE. Can this program was synonymous, except to be fast (the quality is usable?)
If not, it would have a NVIDIA is the better alternative (for occasional zocken), because otherwise the GraKa in video editing so no preference (if this statement is true?)

I have one synonymous X2 3800 + on a Asus SLI Premium and am with the speed increase very very satisfied!
On Avivo I would not trust for quality reasons. Basically, you can especially in the graphics card much savings as DV editing is deal for current graphics cards loose. I have an X800 GTO and am therefore already basically überbedient.
In the linked thread, I have a lot to put together a cut PC `s written, simply pass time in peace ...

I would take instead of the Litescribe more of a burner, burn the synonymous Dual-/Double-Layer can. Litescribe I think is rubbish and takes eeeeeeewig long.

I have a Artic Silentium T2 elected, but I am disappointed, because everything is closed even though the front sound absorbing, currents of air are drawn under the housing stand, but almost entirely behind the housing is open (grainy plate) for aeration - which is pretty useless and even not low-noise ... :-( (
When ASUS A8N-SLI Premium is a lot s.zusätzlichen bracket with output here, very nice :-)
I have the X2 3800, the Trayversion with external peripherals, one cooler made a 'golden Orb "because the AMD cooler is not always optimal low
As an ATI graphics card also XT1300 - exactly synonymous because of the Xcode :-)
