I'm interested in what video editing software for post production of professionals is used.
The price does not matter.
I did last year at Cebit on a stand by Manufacturer Autodesk learned that the professionals with no such "toys, such as Adobe Premiere working on."
From my experience I can say that it is with Adobe Premiere eigendlich can work quite well.
Nevertheless, the question gives me no peace:
Professionals tell us what you used!

Well, I would indeed premiere is not really a toy, but there are really only an industry standard and is still the Avid. These are but rarely to pure software, but a combination of hardware / software including high-quality converters, etc. - what they described as "professional" just needs one. You can even among you Avid.com systems closer look at times (under Solutions Film / Video Post you will find the great systems Media Composer, Nitris and Symphony), with the only really sure what is for professionals (price well over 10k euros + Workstation ).
For the "home use" would certainly Avid Xpress Pro and Final Cut to mention: the former offers the same user interface as the adults, but is of limited functionality compared to that very precious and must do without the hardware, Final Cut, unfortunately, runs only on Apple computers, provides But really all you need as a "professional". Just Final Cut Pro seems more and more in coming, with the old-timers would prefer among the Avid editors probably forever.
