Infoseite // What frame rate for HDTV encoding?

Frage von Wernerh:

Hi All,

all standards, I can no longer follow.

Ok, on the Blue-ray is 1080p-24.
From satellite will probably come 1080i-50 (,?)

In the TV's frame rate is manipulated so that it fits.
At 50 fps or 60 fps?
Interlaced or progressive?

The basic idea would be in HD footage MP4/H264
To play a media player.
How then, should we export s.besten the Holiday film, so he
ideally fit for TV.

1080 P24 or equal to 25 or 30th
Or i50 or i60?

And in "720" P25 or 30 ..

uff!

Who came up with it all ...
Perhaps someone could shed some light into the darkness?

Thank you very much,
Werner

Antwort von RickyMartini:

What is the camcorder you are using it?
HDTV is with us only 720p50.

AVCHD camcorder in Europe (, Sony, Panasonic, Canon) are characterized in 1920x1080i50 (; highest and / or second highest quality grade) or on 1440x1080i50. HDV2 used 1440x1080i50.

You could therefore use 1920x1080i50/1440x1080i50 or 1280x720p25 for export.

Hello Ricky Martin,

So I use as a beginner or a Billigkamera with 720 P30.
It is still not a very acute issue, but it concerns me.
Out of interest, and because I've been lying around various 720P movies
for me with next-generation formats, there is confusion.

My concern is more about how do I export to the DV editing.

I once searched on Google and the keyword "24p hdtv"
(; s.oberster body) of a company found an interesting info.

Has raised questions for me then what the "food" is the
TV for s.besten offers without the Television video
according to his needs "adjusting".

In the future, 1080 will indeed eventually i50 I think coming. (; SAT)
The videos of BlueRay but coming in 1080 p24.
According to my understanding of the film is speeded up to 25fps and then doubled to 50. (; 2:2 pulldown).

So came the idea that since the ideal (, ere)
Coding would be.
Or is it all irrelevant?

Greeting
Werner

Werner ...
... fang Simply drop forward to:
How big is your television ... And how far away you sit, because the higher your resolution is, the closer you ran must.
Example: For 720p you need at a viewing distance of 2.70 m with a 50 "screen. The same viewing distance for 1080 requires a 75" screen.
Alternatively, you can of course synonymous dense s.Deinen Television go to change the resolution to be able to use yet.
After that then arises (the question; synonymous or not) after 50, 25 or 24 and perhaps even synonymous to p or i, although even in 1080 in fact all the characters on p and i are probably the medium becomes obsolete.

Hi Wolfgang,

there with me until everything is in the planning, I can not give specific answer.

For me it was synonymous with the discussion a little bit about the technical
Backgrounds and lost interest. And for video
"already coded" correctly.

Möglichereweise the encoder settings so synonymous plays no role.
At least, we read the example. Ruckeln Bluerays may ordenlich when the TV is not suitable for 24 P. And the TV with the frames seems pretty juggled so that he appears well.
Probably, the TVs can now more or less all of 24p.

And once you start reading about this subject, then the question naturally arises of what features should
ideally have a HD video for today's HDTVs.

Perhaps the answer is yes to say "no preference" ... :)

Each conversion is eating quality, so always stay as far as possible in Usprungsmaterial. When you capture in 720p30, then stay here, can the modern television show. If you are converting to be artificially added to 1080 the information was not there before, so it can hardly be better. Even worse is when you make from 30 images 25 images, as indeed must necessarily fall under the rug 5 pictures and vice versa, of course, too. 24p paid off only when you are capturing in 24p synonymous.
If you sometime in 1080 i or p, and what always synonymous films you stay here too.
Look at just the spec of Blu-ray s.dann you see what is possible.
