Infoseite // What speaks against HongKong import of XL2 or XH-A1?

Frage von papegg:

Dear experts,

I plan to just purchase a Camera and have so far (due to limited budget) only on the Gbrauchtmarkt researched. When looking at ebay, I came to offers of new products from Hong Kong that I could afford (prices are even below the level that this country for used Cams paid) - is there a catch?

Greeting in the round
Of Arno [/ b]

Since these devices are not for the European / German market who are likely to be a missing German manual (which is now not so tragic). Much more important would probably be expected as warranty problems. If I s.die same, mutatis mutandis, many threads relating to U.S. recall shopping, Canon has just as much and consistently rejects warranty for unofficial imports from. But most definitely worth a purchase even then not really, if the dispatch of beiti and the additional costs listed for supposedly cheap price added. At the end is such a selbstimportierte Camera then significantly more expensive than the German dealer with original warranty.

I can only sign of their own and how other people experience in various Chinese shops in San Francisco such as those reported in Hong Kong:
The guys call an outrageously cheap price. If you say: 'It's a pack! " they want extra money for enclosed accessories (memory cards, Headphones, bags, etc.) have. If you then say: 'I do not! " they want to sell or not to 'nem unaufregenden price more ...

Tax is levied only on the item price is not calculated on the shipping price. The shipping price should be around 30 euros.

Wrong. Inch and import VAT on the value of the goods when the German border is calculated. And there is also a large proportion of shipping with it.

For those who have such a tariff settlement have not yet seen an example attached to Nachrechnen. The beat the Inch actually synonymous to the shipping on it, and the EUSt then synonymous to the inch. The potentiated as interest and compound interest. : (

Import duty and VAT only on the value of the goods, not on the shipping invoice. In my experience this works reliably only when the customs duty and even like a lynx watch (shipping rausrechnen, difference dollar / euro). When Customs land packages only, for cars with the state postal company of Versendelandes (eg USPS). The two major parcel services Fedex and UPS handle the customs formalities themselves, before they deliver the package. And that is much more expensive. First, you can not with the customs officials on the percentage amount of import duty haggle, secondly, they expect the sake of simplicity, the shipping cost is not out yet and thirdly, a processing fee (for Fedex to my knowledge, currently EUR 7.50). When it comes quite bad (not clear whether transport costs included), take before even calculating costs according to the IATA table. Then it is quite expensive. The only, but not always reliable remedy for UPS and Fedex: as soon as possible and not too late when UPS-/Fedex-Büro s.Einfuhrflughafen call and indicate that the package to the nearest Hauptzollamt be transported for the purpose Selbstverzollung.

Still not right!
See here:
http://www.zoll.de/faq/postverkehr/postverkehr/index.html#post2

And whether the lump-handling by FEDEX etc is expensive or not, everyone must decide for itself. Outward and return journey, fill out documents, waiting times etc ... then prefer to 7.50 euros and free door.

And haggle over a maximum import duties, if any, on duty go. The EUSt is fixed with 19%. There is nothing to bargain.
