Canon XM2, SonyDSR PD 150 p, SonyVX 1000, SonyVX 2000E

Canon XM2 is new and already available for 1900, - euro in trade.
SONY PD-170 s.3600 / 4300 in ebay / trading.
Sony VX-2100 new 2499 / 2699 in ebay / trading.
Good used: PD-150 to 2000, Sony VX 1000 by 1000
The PD-150 and PD-170 have LCD monitor, the VX-1000 does not.
I wish to _not_ work without a monitor.
SONY advantage: Better low-light capabilities as Canon, disadvantage: If not available through Sony's Germany, then no repair in Germany! Sony disclaims that according to information from the Sales Department!
Advantage CANON: Repair in Willich, disadvantage: Severe loss of value, such as XM-1 8ßß-950.
Used disadvantage: You may malfunction, no warranty, possibly stolen.

I have the VX2100 and am very happy with it - Is HDV a topic for you or not?
The VX2100 is different of the PD170 in the first instance by the audio quality (XLR for PD) - where there lies your Wertlegung?

Well, if the camera will be new (then you have 2years warranty that - as you know that parts of the camera is not already worn out), it is probably only the XM2. You can even time to look in various comparison machines or on eBay. Otherwise, you can even look for used VX2100 and the like.

The vx 2000 and the xm 2 do not have xlr connections. this would mean to buy an adapter. The pd 150 / 170, however, has xlr connections.
I would recommend you the vx 2000th
I myself work with the pd 150, which has the same picture quality as the vx 2000th was recently able to re-shoot with her, the quality is just super.
