Hi folks,
I need your opinion please times, because the more I search on this topic and read the more confused I am.
I want on my Page (new online shop) offering a promotional video, that of (prospective) clients or downloaded can be played. Now I do not know in what format the video I should be deposited. My target audience are more elderly customers with no great knowledge of PCs, no codec freaks.
My wish is the following:
- Good to very good quality
- On as many computers without any additional software / codecs playable
- Not too big
The video footage is currently available in 720x576 50i (PAL DV1) before.
I know that I am following the Eierlegende Wollmilchsau search, but still what can you recommend? The video should be based on a double click in a new window and play, but can be downloaded synonymous.

Alternative: MPEG-1. Need a little more bandwidth, but is synonymous to the oldest boxes / operating normally without any problems. When the target resolution you should make sure synonymous how important it is whether you recognize certain details still can.
