Frage von DezorianGuy:

Hi,
Of the Prozerdur (white paper on film), I've heard, but how it looks when outside (in the city, nature, sunset, etc) is?
How do you do it right?
Always a white paper at hand have to make it in each new lighting situation hervorzukramen deductible and balance?
This White Balance with the paper then it must be for each specific light ratio geamcht separately, or?

Example:
Afternoon movies, * White balance *, goes under the sun ... s.wann should again make white balance (if new lighting conditions arise?), Or converts the camera with the car ...?

It's best you simply reserves at the AWB. Except when the lighting conditions for the automatic really hard, but then I would become a draw program exposure (indoor, outdoor, sunset, etc.). And if you still do not wants, I would actually with a white sheet of paper. For example, a totally covered day outside is quite kritish for consumer cameras, as most tend towards blue, then it's time, an imaging program to take "outside".

Hello,

that depends on if you have eg a film, which begins at noon and the evening ends, I would just lunch make a white balance. Otherwise the film would change the lighting mood for the evening did not perceive, because the camera for exactly this evening trying to compensate for lighting changes. And in the sunset is just not white white. Is your movie made up of many individual scenes of a wide variety of lighting (eg a report) would I use the white balance again and again make the effect when watching a quiet simple. The White Balance can be very useful or synonymous but much Lichtstimmung break ... depending on ...

Presumably you can with the theme of White Balance fill whole books and yet everyone has a different way of working.

The idea with the AWB (Automatic White Balance) is not bad, as a camcorder that is always when the current value of white. Importantly, however, the camcorder is not "somewhere", but at precisely the motive to set the next record. Only then does the automatic measurement synonymous sense.

Outdoors during the day, I quite like the fixed value for daylight. To succeed in most color and in subsequent fluctuations must not synonymous scene to scene of fear, such as the AWB may be the case.

Evening Moods, however, are very special, not least by the synonymous

Gude
One of the simplest ways is to set you in the back of the hands (or inner surface) takes as a reference.
Sauber should hand but his.

Everything else depends on temperature of light source and light / radiation, Location (footage) from.

Personally, I use Camera plus light meter and calculated as the "medium" value from both measurement methods and thus constitutes the Camera On.

Instead of a pure white sheet, I would rather be a White Balance (Chart) Card draw.
This has mostly black to white of various fields (gray tones)

A New Lens / Camera, I test several times, in different situations / conditions and characterizes the data / the behavior.

After its time you go here after a very practical sense and experience, and devotes itself to the related topics such as, general lighting / shaping, set-building .... or a deserved break ;-)

The palm is a measurement for the old trick metering - that it synonymous with the White Balance function, would be to me.
