Infoseite // Why has my video now double the speed?

Frage von Heiner Kunk:

Why did my video in the way exported as MPEG2. Now the quality is good, but the speed is fixed as normal. Why? Thank you

PS Even if PAL is the phenomenon. From the original three minutes, it's now 2:37 min playing time. There are no marks or something there. Has something to do with the Framrate? Otherwise I have no idea synonymous ...

What frame rate is your source material?

Antwort von Debonnaire:

You have guaranteed PAL recordings with 25 fps, but when they exportierst with 29.97 fps NTSC, leading to an acceleration of the movements and thus a shortening of the final videos.

Your three-minute PAL video contains 4500 frames. This played with 29.97 fps takes 2502 ... Minutes or so about 2:37. From "double speed" can therefore be no question ever, noticed by the way ... It is a nearly 25% speed increase, of PAL on NTSC.

Strangely, however, is why your export settings although NTSC show (which surely is ever wrong), but shows 23.976 fps, which is absolutely no "official" format for video fps.

Just make a 25 fps PAL and times of exporting, then it's back skin!

The only way out of curiosity: Do you something like the first time?
