Is generally tend not to recommend.
Have so far only one time even for a small mini-DV had. The worst had distortion and Randunschärfen.

I've been a long time the HTMC HAMA HR 0.45; only s.meiner Pana.NV GS 400 and now s.HV 30 and HF 100th I'm very happy with it, no distortion and sharp edge to the corners. I do not know whether it still exists now
