I'm with a Canon XH A1 with 30P filmed and the material will now import capture in Edius /. Only gives me Edius 5 only at 29.97p. If this is combined with a loss of quality or how I can (30p material; capture 1440x1080 30p) / import?

"30p", there really is not because the refresh rate was set in the analog of the NTSC television (for the avoidance of interference, and interference) on 30 / 1.001 = 29.97003 Hz.
