Mit zwei verschiedenen Kameras EINEN Film drehen?!

With two cameras a film?

Frage von Gonzo:
Juni 2008

Hi folks,

Cameraman my wishes for the four rotating a short film for some scene SonyEX-1. This rotation for the entire period to rent, however, would blow the budget. That's why we want two days with the EX-1 and then two days with the Canon XH-A1 rotate.

How can we prevent that the difference is too much? What to consider? Or is perhaps generally discouraged them? Any advice and tips?

Thank you ...

Euer Gonzo

I would, unless there are special in their camera technology have reasonable cause behind everything with the same camera shoot - certainly if there was only such a short deployment goes. There are rental companies, the equipment for four days hergeben, but only three days to calculate, and the well-known "cheap rent" has the EX1 for 39 euros per day in the range: Because the budget but should still play?

Thanks for your answer ...

Why would you not do this because? So, what is the exact reason why this is not advisable?

Generally synonymous with me glow red warning lights, when I introduce the ... But just when I think about it, I see so far no concrete problem, because it is the different scenes that synonymous when it finally became a movie together will be cut (I have not shot / counter shot SIMULTANEOUSLY shots with a camera to make , which quite obviously would be problematic).

Power problems the format (HDV / AVCHD - MiniDV -tape/Speicherkarte)? Or is it really the difference in picture quality?

Other things like White Balance, etc. I would exclude, as seen in the various scenes can be otherwise quiet, right?

Gruß,
Gonzo

different cameras produce different images, even under the same conditions.

the camera goes into the blue, the other into the red more ...

the focus is in a better, worse in the other ...

the tiefenschärfe is a stronger, weaker in the other ...

the optic is in a wide-angle than the other ...

the whole feeling of the camera is in one way at the other so ...

which are all things that stand out unconsciously.

in the cinema area for a film is even only a single relay production of celluloid used to always have the same image to make.

take the same camera for your project. is better ...

Are also problems in the editing: incompatibility because once 25f, then 25p, even Halbbilddominanzen several different formats are not easy to cut, you need a conversion.
