Moin, I'm getting a little perplexed. Wanted a tape recording of HDV SonyFX 1000 dubbing to Calculator (VdL 2008 pros). Everything is connected via firewire, turned on, same settings as usual and "Recording". Then check the Explorer - shock! Rather than in the AVI format, the recording was carried out as *. mpeg? All parameters are the same as always (camcorders, Calculator), a second test synonymous s.Laptop brought the same result.
Has anyone experienced synonymous schonmal or an idea what could be such a thing?

Then you'd probably still not the same settings, but probably the internal HD> SD DOWNCONVERT activated OR in SD (DV, HDV, not included).
