Hello,
because the repair of my XH-A1 (Firewire interface defect would cost) 550,-EUR would, I used this s.Stelle sauteur repair rather than pure player, a second camera to use (for example, HV20 and HV30). Play these little Canon - HDV cameras, the XH-A1-tapes (25p) from any problems?
To explain the problem: since I have killed smoothly thanks to a 10,-EUR-China Firewire card, the Firewire port of my XH-A1 () by reverse polarity. Actually, you even think that Firewire is non-polar due to the shape of the plug. But only partly true, or definitely not in China. Not so clever!

Draws the CANON XH-A1 to non-25f!? This format is of our Sony cameras (FX7, FX1, Z1, Z5, not recognized Z7) and MAZ (M25)! The Sony HVR Z5 but would recognize a tape in 25P ....

Tobi Yes 25f can be played in the HV20. As the camera but then accurately interpret the material, knows I do not. I can think of in any case no problems when I play 25f on the HV20.

If the 25F material does not actually still interlaced (technically speaking). Here is yet a full distribution written in two fields. Quasi-Progessive a fake. So I thought 25F was fully compatible with all other devices.
