Hello friends this great camera,

There are actually corresponding with the possibility of capture software
The Xh-a1 recording directly into the PC yourself? So as a small
Studio camera? I've got here is a different model and in the
the juice is always stalled when I clean the camera mode
changeable and the PC can not record the picture.

Also, could I still be happy, in what format the
Video data to a Fire Tore computer, instead of the
Tape recording at the Xh-s.ja be possible ....

And last but not least (for beginners HDV):
What is the difference between an HDV tape and a

Yes I have now said (for example, with Adobe OnLocation), but your subsequent remark made me aback. If such a bug Canon have built? Or were there other reasons that your camcorder is shutting down? Popular causes are: 1) tape is inserted, but does not. 2) Battery is empty. 3) Automatic switch-off in the menu is not disabled. 4) Is the only network without shutdown.

A similar problem with other HDV camcorders:

The data in different containers can be stored and / or with a wide range of popular codecs are included.

For studio, I can recommend only one: on DeckLink Composite fed. According fast raid provided and you will receive uncompressed material. Costs around 1200 Euro with Raid ...

For all other solutions you have to attack the encoded material. Also not bad but the above solution is like an icing on the cherry compote. If you think is too expensive, I would s.deiner place on the Canon Console think tierisch geiles tool :-)

Because of the shutdown of the camera, you have the power save mode in the menu off.

with the yuv / rgb connection ...
