YouTube: The TV revolution? Of thomas - 22 Dec 2006 15:46:00
An interesting article of Wired about the incipient changes in the TV market by video sites like YouTube (where every day some 65,000 new videos are superscript). Usdarüber is speculation as to whether the by-line competition caused gradual decline of traditional TV channels to the advertising industry billions now the suppliers and producers of online video could flow - a hope which is certainly Google's purchase of YouTube has motivated - and about the difficulties with money to make these videos.

magazines such as wired and time seem quite hinaufzubeschwören, but I can not imagine that 65,000 videos s.tag, which usually ne cola bottle filled with mentos, and even more synonymous in the handycam quality, truly a revolutionary development. Once the copyright matters of the servers disappear, it is hardly a reason to give more than 1x per month drop.

However, it must be said that if the TV does so, it will soon itself disqualified. content, advertising, etc..

we really want that billions of $ spent on youtube? then there will be no louder werbung second of the vids to see you all again distributes the "customer". we are all consumer-driven, but somewhere there is a limit synonymous where even the last hillbilly says, "it is enough."

It takes no more heraufzubeschwören. This is already a reality. In directories such as www.hit-tv.eu etc. are already numerous online TV channels, the quality synonymous make television, not of advertising "zugestopft" is.

Example: Mühldorf TV, which is right at the BLM in Bavaria to a proper license for your program efforts. The problem: The rules of the BLM still come from the days when television black and white and it was up to two programs has been made.

Online TV will be enforced immediately, if it is widely usable and DSL are available for settop boxes and the PC into the living room recoveries (what the industry has been promised!)

In times where everything (and I mean everything) only to the financing or rather turns to coal, it will always give advertising. To be successful the concept and the related platform, the more publicity it will be there.

However, I hope times, so slow that the level of "more advertising is no longer" is reached. And may RTL with its satellite encryption times neatly fall to the muzzle. The consumer is guaranteed the form of boycott. There are still too many free TV channels that an Experiement can not afford. And SES Astra will hopefully have synonymous savvy.

Such a development is not predictable ... Range development, living-PCetablierung, etc. ..
Vorallem HDTV could be an ace in the sleeve of the sender ... and for hardship is already shcon nearly every major private broadcaster with the Videoclipzug wagon.

RTL = Clipfisch
MyVideo Pro7/Sat1 = (Sat1 runs even on Friday the "MyVideoshow")

Ultimately the consumer decides what form will prevail ...
