Hi, Now I have before me a 7D. Unfortunately, I have but not very much money for a portable recorder with XLR connector. And from there to the Zoom H4 on ebay quite cheap to buy. Now I have researched a bit about the difference between the H4n and the H4. And I've often read that the H4 sometimes some beep or something should occur in (see: http://2090.org/zoom/bbs/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7605&start=0 )
And because I so want to buy a recorder that does not s.Ende right, I would like to know what experiences have you made with the H4.

Have often worked as with the H4 as H4n, and always came out very well with. The processing is more like medium (in Comparison), and the ergonomics just like that; would rather prefer the H4n.
Depending on what you want with the 7D (when it is only to film, to any company gives no reasons not 60D or 550D, and would otherwise exceed the row support make the difference), you should think synonymous s.ein Lens.

AF points and continuous shooting give marginal advantages for the 60D, the rest is identical (as far as I read everything correctly), hence my comment, nevermind.
One advantage of the H4 is the metal "basket" around the Microphone pods, which makes the whole more stable. Phantom power, he is unreliable after mE available than its newer counterpart, then we have always with Battery in Mirko rotated. Handling noise coming more to the application (maybe my imagination but the synonymous only).

But one has to see the synonymous small price difference between the 60D and the 7D. For the 200 ¬ more you get 10 more AF points, 3 B / s more, a 100% viewfinder, a magnesium alloy, CF card ...
Well, see, again. The ability to manually adjust the audio 60D naturally appeals to me synonymous, then it might be synonymous first go without zoom.

CF cards offer no advantage for me now, just as the magnesium - You once tried to break polycarbonate broken? For 200 ¬ you get even rudimentary good glass - much more important than the body:) And swivel display, which is killer.
My point: no compromise on the Cam, but save s.Sound (H4 H4n place, possibly even Aufsteckmikro H4 place ...). Sound is incredibly important, and as good of a Picture of many HDSLR video is so terrible is the sound. It does not even level (imho), but simply the quality. Microphones must take drastic s.die the source, "away from the room."
Just imagine: a 60D, a H4n and to have good glass. An idea - or not?
