Hello, I want to connect an analog camera (video Hi8 handycam) s.meinen computer. vga card as I have an ATI Radeon 9550 with vid out connection.
However, I find the camera when I plug in nich. jmd can help me?

Video-out is called Video Out and although video-out-from-the-PC ;-(
You need a connection for video-Rein-in-the-PC, short video-IN ... There are like three flavors:
1 / Extra Card with Video-IN port. (!!!) Some graphics and TV cards have such a connection. Some IEEE1394 or Firewire cards synonymous. The video is digitized and fed by analogy of the card and the PC.
2 / Extra box with Video-IN connection and PC connection via USB. The video is digitized and fed the analog box.
3 / Extra box with Video-IN connection and PC connection via IEEE 1394 or Firewire. The video is digitized and fed the analog box.
The box is called analog-digital converter.
