I would like to see a really cheap beginner model growth!
there should be no longer than 300 ¬ cost (bonze am not) and these properties have:
- Mini-dv
- Hard-line -
- Photos do (on sd card) no professional
- Min.20x opt. zoom
nothing more, which should not be too much to ask or ??:-)

Mini-DV sounds good.
Microphone port is expected in this price class difficult.
I notice right away no one.
From the Photo function on camcorders, I would not expect too much. Even with the more expensive models with eg 3 megapixel photo function the results are more than modest. For more than a few memories clippers s.PC normally not be enough.
20x optical zoom really makes sense only synonymous if you want to use a tripod, otherwise you will see when seasick, as an image helps synonymous Stabilization nothing.
CONCLUSION: In this price range there is no too big differences in quality. So just go into a store to see which represents an un s.besten like.
