Infoseite // direct transmission to notebook and then delayed playback

Frage von jochen:

Dear forum,

I have thoroughly searched, but found no record that I really have. perhaps missing me but synonymous with the necessary vocabulary, after which I would need. I hope that I have seen nothing about. Otherwise, please excuse my inability.

I have unknowing and the following little problem:

I would like a camcorder directly s.mein notebook (centrino 1.7 GHz, 1024 MB of memory) connected and the recording there for about 30 seconds delay play. the recording should however not be interrupted, but simply continue to run.
Therefore my question:
All is generally even possible?
what software will be needed?
special hardware is required?
enough for my notebook ever made?

I think my problem here that should correspond. that there was no answering yes unfortunately :-(

Many thanks for your effort!

Hello Jochen,

priority when it comes to delayed reproduction, then, a DVD-(more precisely: DVD-RAM) or hard disk recorder is the simplest and most stable option, your application needs.

Antwort von jochen:

hallo markus,

thank you for your reply. with a DVD recorder is running the whole, however, really is going smoothly.
I would but the notebook-variante prefer, because of the building so much faster to achieve.

Hello,
I would have thee synonymous to a hard disk recorder advised. Recording s.Laptop yes you can do it still.

And that the building should last longer, I can not understand. The building with a laptop, AD converter, and possibly external hard drive, etc. probably lasts longer, like the bare stand up and turn on the recorder.

Antwort von jochen:

we say it this way: I hope that the solution with the notebook comfortable. ;-)

All is for teaching thinking.
1. I have the DVD recorder still buy! 2. I think it is much too cumbersome, if I every time the DVD recorder and a TV would have to lug.

s.euch therefore the question whether the whole is technically solvable!

That is not quite the Department a video filmmaker. There are recordings gecapturet and then viewed and edited. During the capture has anything broadcasting break.

But perhaps knows someone still trick, so that an incomplete AVI file can be played while they are still fed with data?

Hello,
maybe that goes with a USB stick for DVB-T Analog Capturing of synonymous and TimeShift supported, eg:

so something like that, but I do not know the unit should be the product of her work, however.
Possibly. there are any synonymous Media Center version of the synonymous FireWire Capture and then by the time shift playback Can.

I have a similar product of Hauppauge (WinTV-HVR 900). Unfortunately, the supplied software then the time shift function is not in analog mode. There is perhaps ne-free alternative software?
but I just fear that my centrino 1.7 GHz with such a solution will come s.die limitless. Hauppauge calls for a pc with s.2.0 GHz processor (2.8 GHz for analog mpeg2 recordings) or a centrino (ask: what do the line?), TerraTec calls "Pentium 4 / AMD Athlon XP / Centrino certified Notebook Cpu 2 GHz or higher. "

I wonder because, first, whether my notebook it's smooth can create.
if so, then it would really be of TerraTec product even more interesting, because there but the transfer should be faster than with usb, right?
http://tvde.terratec.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&sid=258

synonymous interesting could a software such as "avs tv box to http://www.avsmedia.com/de/TVBox/index.aspx.

unfortunately, the time shift function in the shareware version is not available. as the direct recording of the camera to the pc does not really convince, is just me the risk is too great, 30 euro in the sand to set.
because someone knows ne comparable software, the times at least 14 days to test it?
because it would bring something, if I would upgrade my RAM?

Incidentally, the sound is negligible.
The building, however, should be smooth and some with vhs level can compete.

Many thanks for your help!
