Have a problem! I have the past few months, a Mini-DV Cam. Now I have in the past something filmed. When I capture footage now, so on DV (allegedly loss-free) on the PC, I see here during the game on a quality loss in sharpness. That is my only explicable by the TFT monitor. It is clear to me that the picture on the TV looks better than on the monitor. After the cutting of the film material, the whole is converted and burned to DVD. Everything beautiful and good. And I am by the compression of MPEG2 avi to have a quality loss is synonymous to me clearly. But the quality is so bad, I find sucks.
Question because there a trick? So in the end I tell myself, I buy me NEN Digital Camcorders for 1500 ¬ and if I do all on DVD I'm back in the quality of an analog camcorder. That is incomprehensible to me and that makes me pretty angry. The purchase of the DVD's a different league, and I'm by far not come off, it is clear, but what I see here is not the world.
Picture Übrigenz looks shitty already synonymous uncompressed, which indeed can not, because yes lossless DV should be.
