I have a cd / dvd-player of Sony (DVP-NS400D) and if I want to play a burned dvd there, it does not run!? what can it be. has anyone told me that only super-dvd `s to run (on my sony?). my son often makes little filmchen with our digital cameras, which would look like once I hold on and burn a dvd on the tv. Incidentally burning with nero ...

vielen dank erstmal. that with the written files to check for burn, I have to try it. However, even running the dvd on the pc, but not on my dvd player on tv!? that's my problem ... :-( (

a DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) is initially nothing more than a storage media for digital data. A personal computer reads a lot, saved it as synonymous to DVD computer files.
A DVD player the other hand, requires very specific data structures. Must present the video for example, in MPEG2 format as DVD and video have been fired. Is the DVD in your case?
Furthermore, there are different disc types. Roughly, a distinction is DVD-R (Cons) and DVD + R (Pros). What guy does your DVD player? Which type is the burned DVD?
