your help is needed:
I have a video file (mpeg) of a buddy get my after effetcts composition is limited to 720x576, the video file I have with pixel aspect to 1.42 interpreted. fits up here - if so good.
Now I would like but the video in 320x288 for internet rausrendern and it works somehow not. when I make a swf file, I have the problem that my masking completely misrepresented, so this falls away schonmal weg.wenn I want to create film (avi dv + compressor) then I get the error message that "the image size or format of komressor not be supported, or there is a hardware or memory problem occurred "
I can with the dv-compressor only to render 576x720 files? with the compressor I used to get acceptable results.
All I could synonymous as quicktime (H264) expected, but then I would then convert into an avi (because of my buddies do not have quicktime player) and I would prefer that as little data as possible out and her to convert. or is it in AE not that I am at half my film composition Size rausrendere (which I can not really imagine)?
I've chosen the wrong compressor? or otherwise any wrong setting? any advice or tips, as I have on the whole than 320x288 avi or flash (swf) can, at considerable quali?

but it is.
but your data are still sd pal 16:9 and there would be half the size:
512x288 Aspect Ratio 1:1

thanks for the reply - but where can I adjust for that when the export pixel aspect ratio should be 1:1? this makes it for me yet ..
I can here only the art (windows: windows video, quicktime ..) select the compressor (window: dv, video windows ...), the size (window: size and strain .. 512x288) and the location .. .?

you could in the composition 1024x576 pixels 1:1 ratio to create
and then in the render settings to half the resolution
