That it is with security. DVD players usually expect movies with 720 x 576 pixels and MPEG-2 compression.

Hello,

I guess now that you've got just the WMV with a burning program to burn a DVD, it's not really the good way.
Computed no WMV from your editing program, but make an AVI file with the PAL DV codec. This file then you importierst into a DVD authoring program (Adobe Encore and umpteen others).
Here is your file into an MPEG2 format with the correct parameters down effect. If possible, place 7 Mb / s and CBR (constant bitrate), then you have the greatest chance that the DVD players at all playing correctly.

I have the same problem.
What, then, is a "typical" DVD format or I'm with AVI in any case on the right page? ('ve been burned so much, this time it should work ;-)

Thank you very much!

Then you read s.besten times as a basic reading of the "Video to DVD" on the Page www.edv-tipp.de through. Is not a matter of five minutes, but it is worth it.

Then just use the "DVD burn" your video software, you need to view the details you do not worry and produce a standard video DVD! The most popular products (Pinnacle, Magix, Ulead ....) but all the control. Or what are you working?

Thanks for the link, just something I need time to myself right reinzuarbeiten.

@ Markus: The first experiment I had with the software of the Cam made, then the VOB files.
Then I did it with Windows Movie Maker probiert. On the PC, it worked really well ...
Now I have only the first test version of Ulead runtergeladen.

Thank you for helping me do next! Unfortunately, we do not take on so stupid mega Beginners questions!

VOB files are packed properly for a video DVD. Real as it gets.

That would have been the right way!

The Movie Maker can not themselves produce DVDs.

As written, VOB sounds good, video DVDs contain, among other things, VOB files.

I found in the DVD with the VOB files but the sound so bad, maybe because then I have gone wrong.

Then I try again. THANK YOU, THANK YOU!
