good evening!
've just cut with avid and premiere and must be cut now because final on a mac-computer upgrade, which is new territory for me!
because I meet all the retailers - in the past - again and again to confuse and give evidence are not uniform, I'd need 'urgent' views a few facts, of those who actually work with final cut.
My question is, since I currently can not spend oversized lot of money, what image you recommend and in what macbook pro cut her!
1) image: cut someone on the imac 21.5 inches / 3,06 ghz intel core duo/4gb ram / HD GeForce 9400M /? - Lies at 1,090 ¬
2) mac book pro: the salesman advised me that I am at least a mac book pro 15 inch / 2,66 ghz/320 gb/4gb ram needed - is located at 1,750 ¬
3) must be all this, or is synonymous with a final cut slightly more favorable, slower computer, or macbook pro?
hope to answer in order to get clarity on.

Me is my iMac 24 "C2D 2.4 GHz with FCS2 completely satisfied.
But so far only edit DV data. AVCHD I have not tried it yet.

partout vendor claims that would not run well to that final cut -
because of the graphics processor?
s.liebsten I would perceive this offer, but not if it never runs out.

Already Runs. But according to a new iMac with 27 "is much faster and more modern. The price of the old 20" iMac is far too high. More than 650 euros is not worth it.

the macbook pro to cut someone? if so with what processor? would be synonymous possible - working with an external monitor.

Up to AVCHD and H.264 can pretty much synonymous with native elder and smaller machines will be cut, and even then it's no problem, since there are ProRes. Even the tiny and almost 2 years old 2G MB C2D, on which I'm writing all this makes no funny business with. Would say: Any Intel-based Mac.
Why of 2,4 C2D iMac, I'm 20 switched "on MP: The 126er GraKa not render at a higher bit depth, color and motion are as pointless (and a series of Final Cut Pro - Effects are rendered only in 8-bit!, So is not) quite irrelevant. Insofar as the seller have a point: At least 256er graphics, better 512th
