Hi folks,
did with my new Sonyhdr HC7 is a problem:
If I use my camera in the HDV convert dv to my laptop detects the camera, without further investigation being required.
In the original HDV he asks me (when connecting via the Fireware) after a driver?
(Did WinXp/Sp2).
Can someone help?

hehe, if you've WinXP/sp2, there's several ways that are often already been discussed or will be. go look at the Forum Index, relating to "hardware", as you'll find a good list of possibilities under the first theme of "if firewire not (right) works with focus on SP2 version.
Hope you find there a solution - I am still looking ;-)
