I have a trivial problem and not a very good solution to it.
I would like an old video of a videotape as divx or mov or mpg file stored on my computer. there might be a possibility rather inexpensive video of the band to copy to the hdd? I have no dvd-recorder to store the data in this way. So it must run directly on the computer. synonymous, I think that there is not some thing like scart-firewire (because of analog-digital).
therefore, the question s.euch. some have already done something like this again? from vcr to hdd. maybe an analog-digital transformer with firewire or something. no idea.
if I can help someone, I would be very grateful;)
