Infoseite // hard drive partitioning

Frage von gogo1:

hello forum,

have found in my computer 2 hard disks with 80 GB, and wants to make a meaningful partitioning. My idea:
2x Primary partition with Win XP to approximately 12-15 GB of hard drive 1,
1x extended partition with 2 logical drives as D: and E:

this would be a useful aufteilung? Would be to partition with Partition Magic 8th

Question 1: If I am the 2nd Windows would install on the logical drive, I see the Windows - directories, when the 1st Windows is active? This is for ev-fours so bad infestation?

Question 2: Can I create a primary partition, install the OS cleanly, and then the partition with the Partitionierprogramm on the 2nd primary partition copy, without giving rise to problems?

Would be happy for ev ev answers or other suggestions.

To your questions, basically related): The Windows files were visible (yes. This can avoid languages, you can use either a removable disk drive and can take out the second disk, or in which you have a formatierst with NTFS (NT, 2000, XP) and a with FAT (95, 98, ME). The XP installation is s.alle turn, made of 95/98 is an access to the NTFS disk is not possible (there are synonymous for drivers to make this possible). It is not really a problem but if that would be visible. But why a second Windows? Does not light me a really consume the space rather useless for applications and data (movies space, do not forget!). As a backup? Hmm, you make a backup of a clean Windows installation on DVD, I have made synonymous, and the place will certainly still be able to use you.
