Hi,
I am in the moment in a difficult situation, have to decide between the two.
gecroppt the cam is needed for a 4:3 image as sharp pal (when scaled hc1 and s.den pages.).
I need mainly for rotoscoping (therefore, the sharpness) and the keying.
keying in matters, which is primarily needed, I think that yes you pal for the 4:2:0 compression in 4:2:2-hdv one can image rausholen.
therefore, I tend to hc1.

glad to see you we can share s.Deinem thought process and have made a decision. I rarely see in the very first posting of a thread. ;-)

Especially for budding Hobbyfilmern we recognize the confusion frequently when two or more devices that need to be weighed up pros and Disadvantages's and there is no model that brings all the desired properties sought-for purchase price.

I now movies as the last 3 years, had previously ne pana GS200, which has annoyed me as the bad and the objective, despite 3ccd extremely distorted green tones.

the VX2000, I have taken into account, as I already had ne vx1 and the simple handling was good, plus she is a 3-chipper, when hc1 tell me the color is not that way.

Is this really? I have often read about it, but nothing really concrete.
How do I get out of a 4:2:0 HDV clip a DV 4:2:2 clip??

the theory is so that when 4:2:0 horizontally every 2nd line is fully scanned vertically alternately cr and cb.
therefore, the 0 at 4.2.0:
4 represents luminance, 2 cr for crominanz red () and 0 for blue, which means wobee:
Luminosity per horizontal row 4 / 4, 2 / 4 color red, and 0 / 4 blue, red and blue swapped with each odd and even row will be.
