"E" in the name of the device is for Europe. :)

Perhaps here there is no guarantee for Europe and not PAL Recording - probably the biggest problem!
With professional equipment can record with 50Hz or 60Hz (; as the HVR-Z1E).

PAL is synonymous to the box. I have just checked, there is even an
e FX7. Up to the camera and the manual are in English, I see no difference.
This is nothing more, can someone tell me how it may be a price difference?

if there really is a FX-7 is
E, ie no technical flaws to speak against it, then I would (MUT your son for good shots, wish without your intervention) and the lack of a guarantee evt-promised not exaggerate.
If yes then you read what happens when using these off warranty .....................
Something different is in the "professional nurse" of the FX-7, the V1E. Since 2 years belongs to Silver Support. Since then bringing one synonymous and bring the bodies and sent by courier a replacement camera for the duration of this repair, and much more, what constitutes probably a part of the substantial price difference in price.
