Hello,
I have a Pioneer Plasma Television. The bars left and right, in a program in 4:3 format, may gray will. Now the question: Do I have a burn of the 'bar' to fear that if I had a program in 4:3 format look, so that the Uniformly gray bar always displayed?

At least the risk is lower than if they were black. Exactly so there's this option is.
In reality, namely the way: Do not burn the black bars itself, but the picture does das Graue doing the bar in the middle similarly strong as the Picture. Thus, there's no visible Differences in brightness, when once again the whole area for video used.

You zoom in a 4 / 3 is always synonymous Television 16 / 9 broadcasts on 4 / 3 to so that the bars disappear?
I think is the distortion or zooming off with the worst case, what someone can do. But many still do it, least in a so-called "sports bar" at the airport view: Da waddle among men sat with short legs on a lawn and this should then football. But this one has this on Dick Leiber a suspected wickedly expensive plasma TV admire.
I would rather a movie in mono, but with bar, as a artificially Distorted Picture.
