hello together,
I have a live image on a beamer transferred (that is the kurzestversion my problems). I have 2 Canon XL2 cameras, a mixer EDIROL v4. I wonder what cable to take the best possible image to achieve. I think the firewire rather not come into question. bnc I've never tried to stop watching because connection is not technically very good.
Although it is now very briefly summarized, but I think you need more info do not.

S-Video is actually better than AV in the transfer of the picture as far as I am informed correctly. As it is with BIC behaves as I do not know, I know the only example of surveillance cameras.

the beamer has certainly s-video, but the question is whether the signal at s-video via a 30m long cable runs s.qualität not lose?
ich würd bnc synonymous only in the v-mixer and then go s-video output on the beamer.

With reasonably good cables up to 100m are absolutely no problem, however, predict problems and with testing expected. BNC / RCA adapter's enough. The V4 has also only RCA inputs, except for channels 1 & 2 additional S-VHS, and each with 2 outputs (RCA and S-VHS). thanks for the reply. The route is about 30m.
werds I really do. with SVideo cinch - bnc adapter from the camera -> with BNC - RCA adapter into the mixer and with s-video from the mixer to the beamer.
thanks for the advice, but it sounds quite feasible.

a cinch out, the camera already, this was my intention synonymous. was blödsinn what I've written.
nochmal summarize:
I take out the camera (via cinch) out -> bnc adapter - 30m cable -> back into the mixer using RCA adapter into it.
that's the plan. you feel that this is it feasible?
