Hi,
I have the following problem ... I have a mini-DV band of a friend got what I wanted to digitize our company.

Could be that was blocked at the origin of the video camera track. The tape then runs correctly only on the original camera.
Can you try with the SonyDHR-1000VC manual readjusting the track, falling the device supports this feature. Otherwise: get copy of the original camera and tape there.
