Hello,
I have a Question ...
has a well-known for our club a few shots with his Canon XL1 made. because it has no time for the cut, I asked him to myself to give the bands, so I do with my sony dcr-hc32e capture and then can be cut. he says that was not as if the bands once in a device other than his canon are played, when he could no longer use.
I do not understand it completely and I can not technically synonymous imagine what a pure play on a different camera is s.den ribbons to change, so that they can no longer usable.
can anyone confirm this and give an explanation?

Some canyons are in the tape drive quite Sensi Belchen, but so bad now but it's not ;-) The XL1 is the tape you can use again later, no preference whether the times in another camera has been played or not.
A problem with this is often practiced procedure (Recording with a camera, dubbed with another) can only occur if, for example in either of the track would be adjusted: Then they can only play back recordings properly, they even record them.

Not quite, because when a new recording, the previously recorded material so it does not matter anymore.
