I have several. Mov clips created in After Effects (only text, images and surfaces) and with the H.264 encoding exported.
This clip I have Sony Vegas 8 together now and wants to cut it with the same picture quality export. When I select the H.263 codec, my writings verpixelt and the generally poor image quality. The H.264 codec is in Vegas but not at the first choice, only in After Effects.
How do I export my clips with high quality? Do I even re-encode if I vorcodierte clips using?

If you HVCHD high quality material, as you get this (after editing) with the same quality and compression re-written back?

Vegas Pro 8 has an AVC encoder. Can be found under File / Render As / SonyAVC. Prior but please in the project settings to convert a 5.1 project, so here synonymous AVCHD render the templates takes place (the stereo in a project does not appear).

With the MainConcept MPEG2 encoder you create just a mpeg2 file in the dir of the Templates A m2t (transport stream) file.
Whether the m2t file playable then, is of course another question - and depends on the players and the decoders from the system.
The main thing is actually to know that AVC encoder only in Vegas 8 Pro so far available, and not just in Vegas Movie Studio 8 Platinum.
